Free neuro-psych evaluations at USF in Tampa

The Children's Cancer Center is partnering up with USF/Moffitt to provide free neuro-psych evaluations for the pediatric oncology families. It's something that they're really suggesting EARLY into treatment to have a baseline, but even if you're almost done or out of treatment, do it as a way to know how to best help your child.

If you're interested in taking advantage of this opportunity, contact the Children's Cancer Center @ 813-367-5437

I just took Liem to the first part of his first test with them this past Monday. He really enjoyed it. She didn't want to tire him so she has broken it up into two 2hr evaluations. He goes in next Monday for the remainder. Plus , I happenedto mention about meeting with Liem's school for his 504 plan/IEP, and Dr. Koch said she would come if I wanted her to.

Liem just finished the rest of his test today. I'm so glad we did it, it will be a great tool, not only for us, but for his teachers when he starts kindergarten in the fall. I'll also be bringing it to his 504 plan meeting this month.
