Children’s Cancer Center
The Children’s Cancer Center is an amazing support resource for families of pediatric cancer in the Tampa Bay/ St. Pete area. They have support groups, sponsor fun events for both patients, siblings and family as a whole. They offer some financial support and can also set up accounts for patients to receive tax-free donations for expenses. They are a wonderful group of staff and volunteers dedicated to making the lives of pediatric cancer families better.

Fore the Children
This is a foundation set up by Dana and Mark Clements in the Tampa Bay area. They hold annual golf tournaments to raise money that goes to benefit families in need due to pediatric cancers. They have provided smaller gifts such as a new pet and parties for cancer kids as larger assistance such as a car for a family without one and lawn equipment to replace that stolen from a family’s business.

Giving Hope Through Faith

This is a foundation set up by Sherry and Dirk Tucker in memory and honor of their son Zach who lost his fight against cancer. The GHTF foundation works to assists families of pediatric cancer in the Tampa Bay area by providing gift cards once a month for a year. These gift cards can include grocery stores, restaurant, entertainment and more.

Children’s Dream Fund
The Children’s Dream Fund is a wish-granting foundation that reaches out to critically ill children in Central Florida. Their wishes include cruises, trips to Disneyland and Give Kids the World, computers, shopping sprees and special themed parties.

B.A.S.E. Camp
B.A.S.E. Camp Children’s Cancer Foundation, established in Orlando Florida in 1982, focuses on providing a YEAR-ROUND series of programs to help children and families along the journey of cancer and other life-threatening hematological illnesses. B.A.S.E. Camp has a double meaning. First, it is an acronym for Believe, Achieve, Support, and Educate. Second, it is a term used in climbing for a place that is set to provide the starting point for a long assault on a mountain. We feel that cancer, sickle cell anemia, hemophilia, and other rare/orphan hematological diseases are just such mountains in children’s lives.

The Life of Riley... This is a brain tumor charity out of Sarasota. They help with many different resources for families in need. They helped us with paying for Hannah's funeral. This was wonderful for when the time came, everything was already done. They do a kinds of help though...

I would like to add our website as a local organiztion, even though we are just starting to branch out and help others that are not local to our area. We are still a small foundation, but help when and if we can!

Frankie's Fight is a 501c3 non profit foundation that financially and emotionally assists families that have children with pediatric cancer. If you are in need of assistance, you can email me at frankiesfight@aol.com, with your child's name, diagnosis, location, and a brief description of your current financial situation. Please let us know how we can help you.

Each family is asked to fill out an application and is subject to approval from our board of directors, however, knowing the hardship that falls on a family when a child is in treatment, we do ask for financial information but your approval is not based on this information. We determine eligibility based on need. As I have said, we are very small still, but we havent turned a family away yet!
Please know that we do have limited resources.
