Nervous?? I'm freaking petrified. But I also know this is my one shot to say "My child has cancer" to an audience this broad and really impact people. It would be wrong to drink through my interview, wouldn't it? LOL

Well, let's just say, probably the most powerful voice to women on TV is going to be interviewing me about a subject that is NOT childhood cancer. I told my friends to count how many times I can drop it in there in the course of casual conversation though.

Excellent! I hope that the families will find more and more ways to be supported and encouraged in being advocates. You are doing great work and I think we are all going to make some changes in the way this disease is perceived.

I have the chance to speak on a national forum, and although it's not about childhood cancer, you can sure bet I'm going to make sure everyone knows. I'm excited.

Petition to Cure Childhood Cancer

I don't know if you guys are aware of this, but I have a petition to raise awareness of childhood cancer going. It's idea is to have a network TV special solely on childhood cancer......and yah I started it before stand up 2 cancer. We have nearly 16,000 signatures now, and of course the stories are simply heartbreaking. I hope to collect hundreds of thousands, yet am sensible enough to know that when the opportunity comes, we can use this "tool" to pitch the right opportunity. So, any help you… Continue
